SUPPORT
We understand that you are not at your best, both physically and emotionally, for the first few weeks. We can support you while you recover. We can help you get rest. We provide education and nonjudgemental support to the families we serve. Our doulas are comfortable working with different cultures and respect all types of families.
In special circumstances such as adoption or surrogacy, our doulas have had the occasion to travel with families.

Things Your Doula Can Do
>> Assist with cooking, meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry

>> Breastfeeding and bottle feeding support, guidance
​
>> Emotional Support

>> Newborn Care (soothing, bathing, feeding etc.)

>> Gentle sleep coaching with case management services available through one of our Registered Nurses
​
>> Offer techniques for effective holding, comforting, and swaddling, if desired

>> Help siblings adjust to the new baby

Our program is revolutionary. We have a Registered Nurse led team with the backing and support of our designated midwives and Obstetric/ Gynecology (OB/GYN) physicians. Our team is well connected in the community in order to truly offer you interdisciplinary care at its finest. Whether you need postpartum support services or help managing the baby blues, we are here to serve you. We have a comprehensive plan that can be used in the event of perinatal mood disorders. Our Commitment to You
Things to Know
>> Postpartum Doulas work typically 4-, 6-, or 8- hour shifts during the day or 8-, 10-, 12- hour shifts overnight. We offer discounts for pre-purchased packages.

>> Many of our doulas offer free or discounted rates while being mentored and trained by the Doula Team Lead. If you are interested in applying for this program, please contact us.
​
>> Our doulas have all received birth and/or postpartum doula training prior to working and are also continually receiving continuing education within our collective.
​
>> We NEVER send a doula to you that you have not physically spoken with or had the opportunity to interview. We value your right to know and choose your doula in advance.
